A Scottish Portrait Photographer and Web Designer for many years, Jon-P has built a successful career in a very competitive field by bringing a consistent vision to a very diverse client base. As both a talented web designer and more recently a people photographer, for clients that range from accommodation providers to leading visitor attractions, he thrives on the variety in the projects he tackles. “Every day is something different doing exactly what I love.” Jon-P says, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer. Ansel Adams | I do what I feel, that's all, I am an ordinary photographer working for his own pleasure. That's all I've ever done. Andre Kertesz | Photography teaches that how well you see has nothing to do with how well you see. Anonymous | Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have the film. Anonymous | It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter, because you can invent things. But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the ordinary. David Bailey | The photograph itself doesn't interest me. I want only to capture a minute part of reality. Henri Cartier-Bresson | All photographs are accurate. None of them is the truth. Richard Avedon | These are a few of the masters of photography attempting to describe taking photographs. Here is a selection of mine.
